Location: |
One mile SW of Franklin. Off private drive on the north side of East Decker Rd. Mailboxes 6360 and 6338 Decker Rd. lead to the private drive. Turn on this private drive and walk to the end of the cul-de-sac. You will see a red brick house with white columns to your left and a tall board fence behind the house with an opening in the fence to the right side of the house. The cemetery is behind the fence under the two large trees (maple and ash). |

Cemetery History |
The cemetery is now a part of a cow pasture owned by Vester Powell. Jim Hodgen owned the farm in the 1950's. Ron Ruppert bought the Hodgen Farm. The original farm containing the cemetery was split at some point. Vester Powell owns the cemetery and Ron Ruppert owns another part of the farm. |
Cemetery Transcriptions |
This cemetery was visited and photographed by Linda Eckert in December 2009. Five tombstones were found with two being for the same person. All the stones were broken and lying in a field. The earliest burial was for Jane Harlatt wife of Peter, who died on 26 May 1827. Surnames in this cemetery include Hahn, Harlatt and Davis. |
