Cemetery History

Located in the back yard in a circular overgrown wooded area.  Only one tombstone was found for Jesse Drake who died in 1845, and it has been moved from its original resting place. It is believed 13 people were originally buried here. No known transcription of those buried here exists.  This cemetery is incorrectly labeled on the 1955 Topographical Map as the “Brannock Cemetery” with the Brannock Cemetery listed as the “Murray Farm" cemetery
