Cemetery History

 According to the family, it is believed only 4 to 5 people are buried in this cemetery.  Two stones (James St. John who died May 29, 1845 and Eloner St. John who died May 5, 1849) and one field stone were found.  Both tombstones were broken.  James St. John stone was laying horizontally on its base.  Eloner’s stone was leaning on a tree next to a base.  The field stone was still intact but small.  There were definite depressions in the ground to mark some of the burial locations.
