The Ohio Genealogical Society is the largest state genealogical society in the United States and has at least one chapter in nearly every county of Ohio. The Warren County Genealogical Society was honored by the Ohio Genealogical Society at their annual business luncheon held at the Sheraton Hotel in Cincinnati on April 19, 2008. The Warren County chapter was the recipient of 3 of the 5 annual awards, and one book award presented to their chapters at the meeting.
